The Minnesota Timberwolves General Manager David Kahn is reportedly taking a look at Mark Jackson to be the franchise’s next head coach. Kevin McHale was recently fired and the Wolves are looking for a replacement.
Jackson played in the NBA from 1987 to 2004, he played for the Knicks, Pacers, Clippers, Nuggets, Raptors, Jazz and Rockets. He is currently ranked 2nd on the all-time assists list.
But more recently Jackson has worked with Mike Breen and Jeff van Gundy on ESPN/ABC broadcasts since 2007. Jackson was linked to the Knicks and Suns head coaching spots last off-season but wasn’t chosen for either role. But he has stated he wants to coach in the near future.

he hasn't had any prior coaching experience but I think this could be good for Minnesota because the Wolves won't be contenders for a few seasons at least so the young Wolves could develop while Mark Jackson does as a coach.
