AI Is Once Again A Sixer.

When I first heard of Allen Iverson's plan to retire, I was crushed. Although he has not done much lately to impress me, I have been a fan for quite some time, and despite his somewhat explosive personality, a personality which often gets him into trouble, I think he is an incredibly talented player.

Binary Basketball and the Phoenix Suns are Doing Just Fine

The Phoenix Suns, along with Binary Basketball, have felt a sharp, annoying, painful feeling of late. While each of these particular issues are likely at the opposite end of the spectrum of relation, I feel that both issues are alike in that they share the same resolution.

I am thankful for...NBA Edition.

In the spirit of the holiday, and what a great holiday it is, I have decided to copy Shaun Powell's article on NBA.com (listing 25 things NBA fans have to be thankful for) and make my own list of 26 (Thanksgiving falls on the 26th after all) things basketball fans have to be thankful for. Note: the order of these reasons to be thankful is debatable...

Miami HEATS up

When it comes to the Miami Heat, I'm more than torn. On the one hand, they're one of my favorite teams in the league, and I want them to do well. But on the other hand, as a huge Bulls fan, I can't help but hope that Dwyane Wade gets sick of playing on a one-man team, or rather being the one-man team, and ends up in Chicago.

Steve Nash Has 6th 20-Assist Game of Career

Nash scored 18 points and had the sixth 20-assist game of his career Friday as the Suns routed Golden State, 123-101, in Phoenix.

Tim Donaghy, The Betting Scandal, The NBA, The Truth

Sports Officiating LawOnce again, as I'm sure many of you have already heard, Tim Donaghy has made the headlines once again in a recent barage of allegations against the NBA's officials that takes the form of the most potent potion to date. Tim Donaghy has moved mountains and shocked something like a fraction of NBA fans at the same time.

As we all know, Tim Donaghy has been the focus of attention for his involvement in a betting scandal for which he is currently imprisoned. Though, it didn't just stop there and thank god too -- that wouldn't have been exciting at all. In response to the lack of a willing audience for his previous whistleblowing attempt (my words, not his attempt at , he decided to stop talking and shut up for a while.

Tim Donaghy then spent his free time between lifting weights and taking showers in prison to write a book covering the entire depth of the betting scandal that sent him to jail for the first time.

He was forced to go back to jail after after an unfortunate decision to go to the gym near his halfway house in an attempt to rehabilitate the knee injury he suffered while being beaten with a metal pipe during his first visit to the penitentiary. The interesting part is that at the time, Donaghy and his lawyers expected the misunderstanding regarding his probation violation, would be resolved within 10 days. Looking back at that article, it seems I wrote it on August 25th. One would be hard pressed to find somebody so obtuse as to allow themselves to go back to the penitentiary where instead of fending off cameras and accusations you have to fend off, well, I'm sure those "of age" don't require any more detail.
