Tyrus Thomas: Starter or Not?

When rookies Taj Gibson and James Johnson, both forwards, got drafted to the Chicago Bulls in the most recent draft, many were wondering if this would be bad news for Tyrus Thomas. Tyrus, who started for the Bulls as a forward for most of last season, has not been known as the most consistent player but has without a doubt improved since he first came to Chicago. Having a ridiculously large wingspan, blocking is something that comes naturally to him and has greatly helped the Bulls in terms of defense.

Haters: Coaches Show No Love For Refs

In the past couple of days, three coaches have already gotten into trouble and have been fined for bad-mouthing refs; refs that are of course replacement refs, as the union has yet to reach an agreement with the NBA.

The trouble first started on Wednesday with Larry Brown, the coach of the Charlotte Bobcats, when he started verbally abusing the refs after a call he was not in agreement with. As if this was not drama enough, he actually ended up ejected, after refusing to leave the court in a timely manner. And both him, as well as the team, got fined $60,000.

Stephon Marbury Out Until Further Notice

As many of you probably know, Stephon Marbury has been losing his way for a few months now. Though he had a decent season with the Celtics, after parting ways with the Knicks on bitter terms, he went off the deep end and started to show the world a different side of him through "Starbury TV", aka his Twitter. Among a handful of less-than-normal activities that he telecasted were eating vaseline, sobbing to fans, screaming about finding Jesus and even getting into a minor car accident.

Bulls Preseason: Crazy To Say The Least

So far the Chicago Bulls, currently 5-1, have had quite an unusual preseason. From key players Rose, Thomas, Miller and Salmons all missing games, to center Joakim Noah scoring 20 points in a single game, to Tyrus Thomas having 22 points and 13 rebounds in his first game back...nothing has followed suit. So what does this say about the Bulls upcoming season?

To me, it shows drive. Drive and hunger. Hunger for a better season than 41-41. Hunger to make it to the Playoffs again. And hunger to get the ring.

"More Than A Game"

Lebron James, or Labreezy as I like to call him, may not be my favorite basketball player but his movie, "More Than A Game", was incredible.

1. John Wall PG 6-4/175 Kentucky
Wall is the most difficult player to guard in the backcourt this season. Kentucky can expect this point guard to score along with distribute the ball. A supreme athele that has mastered the left hand dunk. After adding a jumper this offseason he becomes a legitimate player of the year canidate.

Stephen Jackson's Conduct is Detrimental to the Human Species

As we all know, or at least many of us know, Stephen Jackson of the Golden State Warriors missed the Indian Wells game yesterday due to "conduct detrimental to the team."  While that is their official reason, many feel that it's because of the temper tantrum he threw after picking up 5 fouls in just 10 minutes of play. Yeah, that's Summer League status is what that is.

Though, Don Nelson didn't want to suspend Jackson. Be it the result of Nelson somehow going through 30 years of employment as a coach and never getting the priviledge to tell somebody to GTFO or perhaps there is a backstory here that we don't know about.

What we do know is that Stephen Jackson signed a 3 year extension with the team less than a year ago.

So here is what I'm interested in.
