Tim Donaghy, former NBA referee found guilty of fixing NBA games, is back in prison after what is being deemed a probation violation. I think it's pretty safe to say that nobody in their right mind would trade shoes with this guy right now.
You see, it all started back in prison after he was beaten with a metal pipe. The attacker claimed he was angry at Donaghy for cooperating with the investigation and ended up messing up his knee pretty bad. At this point, he needs surgery to repair his busted up knee but decided he would go to the gym near the halfway house he is staying at instead.
While Tim Donaghy claims he had all the permissions in order to go to the facility, while at the club somebody spotted him and claimed he didn't have the permission to be there. So back to prison for Donaghy until they can figure out what he believes to be a misunderstanding. They are hoping that Donaghy should be back at the halfway house within 10 days while they straighten out this issue.
Until then, Donaghy will likely be ducking and dodging metal pipes and doing his best to avoid beatings.
