New Jersey Nets are Selling Out

The New Jersey Nets have teamed up with the highly valued (at least to me) computer memory manufacturer in a 2 year deal that will generate the team a number somewhere in the six digits reports insidehoops. PNY manufacturers computer memory, flash drives and other computer goodies.

Now after practice, you will get to see the PNY name in the backdrop where they do interviews and the coaching staff will be sporting PNY gear, which should be interesting to see.

David Stern Will Announce Twitter Guidelines for NBA Players

Right on schedule, David Stern comes to the rescue of the NBA and lays down the law regarding Twitter and the NBA players. Well, the truth is they are more like guideliness. In fact, maybe he didn't so much lay down the law as he layed down some non-offensive, unnofficial, modest suggestions.

Why are we treating Iverson like this?

What has happen to our opinion of Allen Iverson? The way he's been treated by the media, team management, and even the fans has been absolutely ridiculous. The negative remarks have grown like a virus. Remarks such as "ball hog" "team killer" and "me only player" have been everywhere. As a big time scorer of course he'll get some of these comments, every top scorer does. This isn't Terrell Owens though. Everyone has turned on him so suddenly. Where's the loyalty at?

Money Management in the NBA and Franchise Success

The success of a team in the NBA is directly related to franchise executives' money management with relation to juggling player contracts effectively. There are many contributing factors to a team's success but the overall success of an NBA franchise generally comes down to how big the market is where the team is based. The problem is that not all teams are located in Los Angeles, New York, Boston or Chicago.
