Monthly Mixmaking Contest league table

The Binary basketball mixmaking season will span over 6 Monthly contests ending in October. the positions in the league will be based upon your points per contest score. However to be eligible to win the end of season prizes you must enter a minimum of 4 out of the 6 contests!

You will receive 1 league point for entering as soon as the entrance list has been set. After the voting has been counted; 2* League points will be awarded for 3rd Place position, 3* for 2nd place position and 5* for first place. I will then convert your points into points per contest and the league positions will be decided on that stat.

In order for your video to count, you must include an introduction that states the video is for the Binary Basketball Mix Contest and must also provide a URL for binarybasketball.com. If you cannot or do not want to make an introduction, you can use one of the Binary Basketball Intro's we provide.

*Not Including the entering bonus

Awards

Binary Basketball mixmaking season will last 6 months spanning from this current may contest until the october contest of this year (Hopefully!!)

When the results of the October contest are in then the places for the current season will be decided and prizes can be awarded.

1st Place:
2000 Points
*An Opputunity for a Trial period on the BB mixmaking team?
A 'BB Mixmaker of the year status'?
'BB Mixmaker of the season'sig?

2nd Place:
1000 Points

3rd Place:
500 Points

*Open to those not already with BB team or another team, Trial depending on activity in mixing section of the forum prior to the end of the season, As judged by current mixmaking crew on a later date.

erm...6 months i guess,this thread should be stickied,so that means every 6 months there will be a mixing league,and top 3 will be given prizes etc ?

ye probly shud be as its not gona be used for long times in between results days. yep 6 months sounds gd to me, n we cud mebe call that a season of mixmaking in binary basketball terms ahha. u got n e idea how to overcome the problem of getting a table from excel in mate?

Well it comes from sumthin u sed, that wat do we do about people who come late or cnt enter all the contests. well if we hav a stat with points per contests then it shudnt matter if u miss a couple of contests, and the winner can be decided on that stat instead of points. like win ratio percentages in the nba u get it?

obviously im goin to put in a minimum amount of contests u hav to enter to be eligible for the prize, say 4?

Not 2nd and 3rd i dont think as out of 9 contestants at this point that would be a third geting into the team. however i think it wud be fair enuf if someone not already previously on our team or on another team then it would be fair to offer them a place if they had managed to beat off all the team members to win the league. wat u rekon? obviously up to Aj and the team but i would say if that was to happen then we have found ourselves some serious talent that we need to sign to our team!

i mean if we are gonna get 10 seasons of this,won't there be 25 members in the mixing team ? and some of them only came here to join the contest and didn't really want to join BB mixing team as they are from other mixing teams,so i think if someone is really talented,aj will probably just contact him by himself

well we will c wat Aj thinks. ahha 10 seasons lol i like ur faith in this new idea thats 5 years lol!, um ye i c where ur coming from that Aj wud probly hav signed them up n e way if they were gd enuf to win the league and not already with a team. But it will only be an option to join the team obviously they can turn it down if there signed with another team or dont wana join. remember this is just for the 1st place winner. maximum of 1 joining every 6 months.

As the winning stat is points per contest then you don't necessarily have to enter every contest to win. however i would much prefer it if everyone did. so i set 4 as a minimum amount to enter to be illegible to win the prizes. i think that is fair.

I may add an extra insentive to enter all 6 maybe a small points prize to those who enter and complette all 6 contests on time watever to hopefuly get every1 competing in all 6
