Joel Przybilla Re-Injured His Injury: Slipped in shower

Tue, 03/09/2010 - 03:50
Joel Przybilla...the big 7 footer for the Blazers had surgery on his knee and was expected to be out for the whole season. Surgery went well, until a few days ago when somehow, he slipped in the shower and re-injured his knee whcih recently had surgery. So he has to get surgery again on his injured knee.

How the hell do you slip in the shower? Was he dancing like LeBron? Maybe his shower is massive, length and height and he decided to run on his good knee..:iono: dude is stupid and the Blazers are unlucky.

Another Blazer injured, this time, Marcus Camby

Wed, 02/24/2010 - 07:51
In Tuesday nights win against the New Jersey Nets, Marcus Camby only saw 6 minutes of action before he fell to a sprained ankle.

"I contested a shot [by Devin Harris] and I think Lopez stepped on my ankle," Camby said. "My momentum went the other way. It is pretty sore right now."

The Blazers seem to have some sort of curse on them, that all players become injured someday on that team...

It's not a serious sprain i wouldn't think, and coach McMillan isn't concerned.

Brandoy Roy Sidelined for the All Star Game - Who will replace him?

Sun, 02/07/2010 - 23:27
Quote: Portland announced that injured Brandon Roy will miss the All-Star Game, so commissioner David Stern will add a new player to Karl's Western Conference squad. Golden State's Monta Ellis is arguably the front-runner, but Houston's Aaron Brooks shines on a winning team. Roy's Hamstring has been bothering him all most all season, and now is good time for him to rest and rehab it. I would love to see Ellis Replace him in the ASG.

Your thoughts? Whos going to replace him in the ASG?

Blazers Joel Przybilla out for season after surgery

Fri, 12/25/2009 - 16:11
Portland Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla injured his leg in the Blazers win at Dallas a few days ago. He jumped for a rebound, and landed very badly on his leg, pretty much it bent right underneath him as he fell down.

He had surgery just yesterday to repair a ruptured right patella tendon. He is said to be out for the rest of the season.

Terrible news for Blazer fans and teammates as they lose another big man to a season ending injury.

The Blazers right now have many players injured Joel just adds to that list.

Jerryd Bayless wants to be delt.

Tue, 12/08/2009 - 23:49
Quote: Multiple sources told Dwight Jaynes over the weekend that Trail Blazers guard Jerryd Bayless has asked the team to trade him.

Portland might need another big man following Greg Oden's season-ending knee injury and Bayless might be the type of player that can get them one.

However, Jaynes points out that Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard is usually averse to in-season trades. Source: RealGM

Greg Oden Injured, Again, and out for season

Mon, 12/07/2009 - 08:07
There is a blog of Oden Out for the Season, thought i'd just post another thread also.

It's obvious that the Blazers suck at the draft. Unlike the Spurs who are masters on draft day

The Blazers should never pick centers, or even better, let someone else pick for them.

In 1972 the Trailblazers spent their first draft pick and the first overall pick on LaRue Martin from Loyola University of Chicago. In college LaRue Martin went toe to toe against Bill Walton and out played him and going into the NBA there was a lot of hype. LaRue Martin never panned out though. Martin averaged just four points per game in three years with the Portland Trailblazers and the other season he averaged a career high 7 points per game. After four seasons with the Trailblazers LaRue Martin retired.

Two years later the Portland Trailblazers drafted Bill Walton. Bill Walton was a legendary basketball player at UCLA in college and seemed like a sure thing. Walton's first two seasons with the Trailblazers were cut short by several different injuries. In Bill Walton's third season he did lead the NBA in rebounds and blocked shots per game, made the All-Defensive and All-NBA Second Team, and led the Bill Walton to a Championship. The following year Bill Walton started off with another great season but got injured once again, tried to return in the playoffs and again got injured. The rest of Bill Walton's career with the Trailblazers was marred by injuries.

In 1984, the Blazers used their #2 pick to draft center Sam Bowie, bypassing Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and John Stockton. Bowie suffered a series of leg injuries that limited his production for the team.

Now Greg Oden is injured...Ouch, this really must hurt the franchise.
